National Gathering
2025 - Johannesburg, South Africa
You are invited to the first 24-7 Prayer South Africa National Gathering.
A Gathering is a spiritual retreat packed with worship, prayer, teaching, and time spent together in the presence of God. Whether you know all about our movement or are completely new and want to discover more, you are so welcome to join us.
About
As 24-7 Prayer South Africa we are contending for a culture shaping move of God in our nation. Because of this our heart is to serve The Church in the place of prayer through, activation, training and equipping. Which is why we’re hosting our first national gathering from the 27-29 March.

In response to Gods invitation to us through Isaiah 30:15, our hope is to create a space for people to return to the place of abiding prayer in which we find that quiet trust that anchors us through turbulent times and propels us into the world to be light in dark places.

We want as many people to join us in this moment as possible, and we certainly don’t want anyone to miss out because of financial constraints. This means two things:
First. If you feel stirred by God to come but need sponsorship/hosting, please be in touch with us and we’ll see how we can help.
Second. We believe a picture of revival is generosity and so if you are able to sponsor someone who can’t afford to join us, please do so using the links provided. We’re grateful for your generosity and pray that you’ll find deep joy in partnering with us in this way.

Speakers
Alongside National Director Nkosinathi Mbuyazi, we’ll be hearing from guests including Danielle Strickland, Sheila Wise Rowe and Nicholas Rowe and our international leaders Keith Grafham and Brian Heasley. We Will Worship will be leading the worship with Langa Mbonambi taking us into an extended worship night on Saturday. More speakers to be announced. Follow the link for all speakers and contributor's bios.
Join Matt Lewis on the Follower Podcast as he has conversations with a number of the speakers
about what it means to be a returning Church in a turbulent time. Series starting 24 February.

Alex Township Tour
On Friday afternoon (28th March) Rays of Hope has offered to take a limited number of people on a tour of Alex. Alexandra is a Township in northern Johannesburg where Ray of Hope has been working for over 30 years and now manages a large number of social outreach programmes.

This tour will be truly insightful for those both from out of town and the locals. Alex is a vibrant and resilient community and has a fascinating history starting around the 1913 Land Act. The Natives Land Act of 1913 was the first major piece of segregation legislation passed by the Government. With its proximity to Sandton city (Africa’s ‘Richest Square Mile’) and Alex being one of the poorest urban areas in the country, it gives one a depth of insight to the Apartheid past and the stark contrast of the haves and have nots.

Space is seriously limited so don't delay in booking. Tour costs R150 pp. Pay directly into our bank account and send proof of payment as it will be on a first come first served basis. (30 spots per tour and we can only accommodate 2 tours).
